Murdle is such an amazing mystery series. I love the interactive aspect so much and the relationship between Irratiano and Logico is so cute. The humour in this book made me laugh soo much too. I didn’t particularly enjoy the political aspect this volume went towards but still enjoyed the story! My main gripe is that some mysterys have the same icon (like the room mystery where every single room icon is the same) and it is soooo confusing.

I was really disappointed to enjoy this a lot less than Volume 1. Volume 2 tried to have a very serious story, which robbed it of a lot of the original charm. I also really struggled to follow the politics as explained in bits through each puzzle, which was frustrating. I also feel really queer-baited after Volume 1 and there was no relationship development here.

That said, the puzzles were once again fun and scaled in difficulty really well. I’m hoping Volume 3 will be much more like Volume 1.

A cliffhanger?! Well, shoot, guess I need to wait for Volume 3! I also loved some of the clever twists to the familiar puzzle format this volume.

Couple of annoyances with this one that I didn’t have with book 1 — for instance going back to easy puzzles and working its way up again rather than a whole book of more difficult puzzles, and a few typos / using the same icon twice in a puzzle to represent different things. Just didn’t feel as thought through as I expected a follow-up to be. Won’t be doing the third one, but this was enjoyable enough.
