A bit of a change of pace for Amelia Peabody. Amelia, Emerson, and Ramses return to England only to discover there's a murder investigation going on, involving a man disguised as an Egyptian Priest and a "Mummy's Curse." Fun like the previous novels in the series, and it was nice to get a little change of scenery and see what was going on with Evelyn and Walter again.
I love this series! Warm, humorous, informative, and suspenseful clean reads that any age can enjoy. I am enjoying this series again, in audio with Barbara Rosenblat as the narrator .
Honestly probably my least favourite so far. The constant secrets and jealousy between Amelia and Emerson was so uncharacteristic. But to be fair things happen in real life so it probably was more accurate to real life. It was nice to have a break from the master criminal because although he’s a good nemesis he can’t be behind everything.
I liked the change of scenery to England. It was a welcome change. Ramses was as always a delightfully odd child.

I missed being in Egypt!!! Definitely not as fun being in London. But still has the fabulous language and comments about their characters which is what I love about the series in general.

Not my favorite of the series. A few too many subplots that led to a particularly over-complicated ending
