This romance is immaculate. A marriage of convenience between a bisexual Black witch and a bisexual plus size white Scotsman. This is one of those romances that feels super tropey and fun, but has a complex and engaging plot. I enjoyed every single minute reading this book.

I wanted to like this book more than I did. It’s a sweet story, but it does end up feeling like fanfiction at parts. It’s nice and smutty and sweet, but overall the writing is so-so.
Minor: Abortion, Racism, and Homophobia

Xeni on her own is funny. Mason on his own is funny. But the two of them together? Absolutely hilarious. They had the most natural chemistry I’ve ever seen between two character. I was also delightfully surprised that both MCs are bisexual; rarely do you ever seen a bisexual male lead and that our leading man Mason was plus sized. That kind of rep is really lacking, especially in romance so I was really happy about that. This was a really enjoyable read and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
