I am ecstatic that I discovered cozy mysteries. This series in particular has been so fun. I enjoy following Lucy Stones life as well. In this one, the birthday party in question is her daughters 14th birthday and its their first attempt at a co-ed sleep over. Needless the say, shenanigans ensue and its just so lighthearted and “fun” for a lack of a better word for a murder mystery. As usual, I cant wait to continue this series and see what other sticky situations Lucy gets herself in.

This book was advertised as a murder, mystery book, but there was so much exposition about the main characters, personal life, that you forgot there was even a murder that took place. This book was very boring and disappointing.

This is one of my very favorite cozy mystery series. I always love coming back to Maine to see what Lucy Stone is up to with her family and neighbors. This time, it’s a blustery spring and Lucy is dealing with a cranky teenager who wants to do a co-ed sleepover, a birthday party for Ms. Tilly, Tinker’s Cove’s oldest resident, and of course, a murder investigation. The police have ruled the death a suicide, but friends of the victim are convinced they’re wrong, and when Lucy takes on the case, clues start adding up.

Loved it. Ms. Tilley reminds me if my mother in law so the memories flowed.
