Not my favorite of her books, but I still loved it. Pacing went from slow motion to sprinting and then back again and mainly felt like a setup for what's to come. Still loved it, thanks to the characters and SJM's writing. A little scared about what's next, but I'm very excited as well.

I haven't decided on an overall rating because I fucking HATE the ending so much. The very last chapter is fucking stupid. Negative stars from me. NEGATIVE.

The rest was fine. But my enjoyment from it is basically null because of how much I do not like the ending.

I truly believe that Sarah J Maas only gets better with time. This has been her best book to date. I will continue to read everything she publishes.
