Stellar- must read book. So well done. Amazing learning experience about what frames the current status of the Republic of Ireland. Fantastic storyteller over all the issues that impact Ireland today.

Dense but good. Helps if you know something about Ireland to begin. There's a lot of hope in how a country can change quickly for the better.

Excellent writing, the struggle was mine.  I found the details too heavy for my taste and wanted more stories from the author about him and his family.   I also struggled with going back and forth in history.   Again, me not the author. Incredibly well written and informative about Ireland.
