This book really makes an impact on the near term/ climate crisis world we are living in. The author does a really good job of keeping the book engaging and interesting. This could have been all doom and gloom but there is wonder and adventure here as well. He makes a real narrative without inserting himself too much into the research. After a long palate cleanser I may check out his other climate books.

Terrifying to know the extreme heat that faces us and wildlife in the next few decades. An important wake up call with instructions for avoiding hyperthermia that could save lives.

Rally informative with definitely a stronger start than finish. Basically a slow moving horror novel, ha ha haaaaaah.
