Finding the non-naruto parts a little slow, especially the kages parts. Love the development of the Naruto and the nine tail fox's relationship.

Love the guy and Kakashi parts. Wish we saw more of the other Konoha ninjas.

very over Sasuke being so annoying. Kind of over orochimaru plot but at least him coming back kind of validates how big of a deal he was made out to be.

this vol is packed w/ action scenes from multiple fights - tho i like some more than others - also plot development, more info revealed abt important plot and story points? and most remarkably is perhaps how kishimoto seemingly, effortlessly renders it all w/ great emotional heft, w/ sasuke and itachi's final parting, as well as dan and tsunade's unexpected reunion. once again, amidst all the action there is a lot of heart at the center.
