This was astonishingly beautiful. It has been a long long time since a YA contemporary got a 5 stars from me but this made me so happy I could not not give it a 5 stars. I would recommend this to anyone who is feeling down for any reason. the main character felt real and I loved her for that.

Oh dear lord, Nicola Yoon what have you done to my soul?

This is a cute story, but I just couldn’t get into the story. I can see students’ interest in the romance and the moral is lovely and touching.

I mean hot damn, Nicola yoon can just write perfect books, it’s ridiculous

wow. nicola yoon has done it again. she knows how to break my heart and put it back together again.

I’ve seen many reviews from both dancers and non-dancers stating that this book wasn’t about dancing, as the title suggested. However, as a dancer myself, I think the title fits. Dancing is a form of love. Dance can be messy and beautiful, much like love. Love is expressing oneself in joy and sadness, much like how dancers can express feelings through movement.
Our young MC Evie, was scared of love after the betrayal she felt from her parents. As the story continues, she begins to learn & accept that her idea of love can change as life unfolds. We are allowed to love different people who come into our lives & there is nothing wrong with that. Love is a beautiful thing & beauty we should all be grateful for.
