It's not bad, but it's far from being good either.
It is slow, messy and boring at times. If you are a die hard fan of cosmic horror, maybe you should read it, otherwise don't. I appreciate the fact that it was multiple short stories, I was pretty busy with work so I was able to get into it stories by stories, though it took me ages to finish the book because I wasn't really into it to begin with. Plus the antisemitism bits were really off putting.

First half would be 4.5 stars. Second half dragged a lot and didn’t really seem to have anything to do with the king in yellow, so that brought my rating down.
