I. Am. All. For. Retellings!

Especially this one in particular.

I love that, even though you can absolutely tell that it's supposed to be Cinderella, it has so many different twists, and spins, it makes it its very own amazing story.

I love how Blue cares so deeply for people, and how she would not hesitate to put her life on the line for the people that she cares for. I love how clever she is.

I love Kellan. He's so smart, and sweet, and protective.

Ugh, I just really enjoyed this book, and it was exactly what I needed to read right now.

Also, I'd be lying if I didn't say that I was more worried about the cat making it of the story unscathed over anyone else...

Solid Cinderella retelling with interesting magical elements. Loved the alchemy and the hate to love elements. Loved seeing Hansel and Gretel again and Jovan. I liked that these books are all tied together but are independent as well.
