This didn't do it for me nearly as much as the previous installments did. Blue's justice seeking for children seemed like a plot device rather than a genuine character trait and made absolutely no sense. If Kellan winked anymore I'd swear he had a vision problem. And the villain was one dimensional at best and extremely boring.

the story itself was ok but it was so painstakingly slow that everything felt lackluster
This book is filled with such strong and well written characters. I enjoyed how strong Blue was from start to finish. Kellan never wanting to be a normal prince and struggling to be just that. How unique Nessa was and the character written to be represent someone within the special needs community.
