Great story idea and fantastic writing, but I really couldn’t connect with Julia - the main character. She was annoying and hyper paranoid even before the pills. So much so, that I found myself disliking her - it only got worse the more manic she got.

Maybe that was the point, considering how the book ended. If so, bravo!

I will certainly read more of this author’s work.

I really enjoyed this one and finished it quickly, which is a barometer of how much I liked it since I’m struggling to get into most books these days. The pacing was great, the story unique and interesting, and the characters were intriguing and consistent. Recommended!

Good twist

Good twist although you could see it coming quite a few pages before it arrives. Good all the same though.
