Tercer libro que leo de Ágatha Christie, y la verdad es el que menos me ha gustado :(
Para mí caaaaasi es un DNF, pero me animé a seguir leyendo por la curiosidad que me daba el final, y honestamente me quedé así (?). No se me hizo interesante el motivo y siento que Ágatha intentó plantar muchas pistas que al final no tenían sentido, obvio no te esperas quién será el culpable al final por lo mismo de la falta de lógica en la resolución, pero a pesar de eso, es un buen PRIMER libro, ya que me parece que fue el primero de la saga Hércule.

I’ve always been a Sherlock Holmes girl since my dad and I read them when I was a kid, but this was good! There were red herrings everywhere, which kept me guessing, but mostly I was just asking for the ride. I didn’t love the info dump of the solution at the end, maybe because so much of it depended on human nature more than evidence, but I’d read more Poirot, this was fun.

I had fun to try and solve the crime before Poirit and I'll probably read more of Agatha Christie's work, although I'm giving this book only two stars. My low rating is mostly because I didn't really like most characters and there was a lot of discrimination in the book (i.e. sexism and antisemitism). I've read the edition published in 2015 and was a little shocked that the sentence „Once Miss Cynthia was dressed up as a n**** - removing the coal proved to be quite difficult!“ wasn't edited out, due to it's racism and missing relation to the plot.
