Frank Herbert has always been and will always be a sci-fi god. There is no other book series within the sci-fi genre, and the second most important overall in literature, that must be read like this one. Children of Dune takes to new heights the vision long foretold within the Due universe and brings it to a breathtaking reality. Forever and always a Frank Herbert fan!

This book felt like a prison that locked me away from books I actually wanted to read.

That being said, it was undeniably intelligent. Sometimes, it was even interesting.

Loved all of the politics of the Atreides family and who was going to take the throne, and also the relationship and conflict with "The Preacher"
