As much as this book is a memoir / "a n author's journey" it is very informative and the author references other sources to help drive the narrative. The last part lost me a bit after the author gets married, but it still explores her desire and how it continues to change.

It was a good read overrall, very reflective in the sense that I was able to read, connect, and resonate my own coming of age experience (as it’s happening) and my relationship with sex. The ending took a turn I wasn’t anticipating to where this book would be better for people experiencing or about to experience parenthood, which I am not nor do I even want to consider anytime soon. I was tuned out.

It felt like a lot of the same themes with different examples. I don’t think I really learned anything or felt moved in any way. It just didn’t resonate with me

Captivating start and some really impactful moments that I will surely be taking with me. At times it was pretty surface-level for a sex writer and too white liberal feminist for my taste, but an interesting quick read nonetheless.
