✨ Reread ✨

I found this book on my old bookshelf and knew I had to reread it 😂

I am giving it a slightly lower rating than last time, as I found the translations clumsy, but I still loved reading it all the same. I also completely forgot what happened at the end last time, but I knew I found it compelling to read (hence the reread).

The bomb going off made me audibly gasp! 😳

4 out of 5 stars for me, thank you ✨

This is the most twisted, dark and sinister book i've ever read on human psychology. You think that you can guess what's going to happen but you will realize soon enough you are wrong. I thought i've read enough books on revenge but this book so far has the smartest plot. It reminds me of "The Glory" on Netflix.

I've read quite many books about multiple perspectives of the characters and i didn't really like any of them besides "Rock Paper Scissors" by Alice Feeney. Still, that book lacks something. This book instead delivers everything that a masterpiece needs. I was so convinced what led the characters to commit their dramatic actions as if i were in their minds.

If you are into revenge, a critical thinker and into psychological-thriller but can't find any good books then i totally recommend this one! This is such a unique book, the one that cleanses your palate after reading too many similar crime thrillers

This book was dark and fucked up and the twists and different points of view were really eye opening

some loose ends left but the ending was still wild and wrapped up the book in a clear (yet really fucked) way.

What the fuck! Lmao!

This was fine. Cool concept. Kind of lost interest and felt not much after, but still liked reading. I am so scared of children.

I am so blown away by this book that I can't even think of where to start on praising it.
Every part offered a unique perspective on the same situation with its own set of new, disturbing details. By the end, I was left with an uncomfortably complex view of what happened without any progress toward forming an opinion on it. This story lives in the gray area.

I also can't get over how satisfying this book is. Details are tied to each other in ways that are often unpredictable (at least to me), but the author gives plenty of opportunities for the reader to piece together the newest details before showing the answer. From the perspective of structure, this book is a very satisfying example of how to stitch details together.

In short: Read this!

Revenge is indeed a dish best served cold. This was a dark story but I had to see it to the end. It brings up a lot of philosophical questions and lots of suspense. An enjoyable read if you have the stomach for it. I haven’t dissected a book this hard since leaving college.
