I personally feel like this is one of those books that deserved all of the hype that it got on TikTok! Like it drastically exceeded my expectations in terms of character  development, storytelling and just an overall interesting fantasy concept, especially coming from a black author! This is the kind of story I always wanted, an HBCU in Atlanta that is for mythical creatures, the creativity is unreal! Honestly, I truly just had a really fun time reading this book, I love the main character, she’s stubborn and a bit hardheaded breath at the same time very lovable. I feel as if the friend group that she has an around here is very well thought out, and they all mesh/ fit together very well! The only thing I wanted more out of this book was the editing/grammar issues but I don’t think it takes away from the book at all! I highly recommend this for fantasy/urban fiction lovers !
