This was cute, but I found her overconfidence to be tiring.
This audiobook completely cracked me up- Iām sure people thought I was nuts laughing like I was in the car listening to this.
This book had me laughing out loud! The Promise, trashy lingerie, the recipes, gimme Chocolate Stuff now āā and the overall purpose of just BE who you were meant to be!
Not too many books can make me laugh like this one did. I really enjoyed it. Would've given it a "10" rating if it hadn't been for the last part of the book just not being quite as funny as the rest.
I had a lot of fun listening to this one. I didn't know there would be recipes, so now I need to get a print copy so I can make "Oh God" (a caramel coconut pie).
A cute book of "advice" from a group of Southern women - pretty funny!
Oh, my gosh. I am the Sweet Potato Queen, a born and bred
Southern woman who has always secretly
longed for a tiara. A fun read
for these grim times.

When I first borrowed this book from a friend I didn't know what the expect, but it turned out to be hilarious. Even though the women that are featured in this book are on the outrageous side a lot of the things they say come pretty close to be universal southern truths or something that I've witnessed. It's a pretty good book and if I get the chance I might borrow another one.
I'm glad I listened to this as an audiobook, read by the author. Although this book draws a lot of its humor from broad stereotypes I find very tired, it has some parts that are really charming, so it was a fun listen.
