A story about first love that got away due to circumstances but somehow trying to rekindle, I'm sold! Reading this took my heart away from beginning to the end. So much raw emotions I couldnt put it down. (Love second chance romances) I'd grab tissues for this book because it tore me into pieces. Loved how it changed perspective back and forth with Teagan and Derek as well from past to present. They loved eachother since they were in high school and when they parted/stopped talking to eachother, it never changed how they felt for eachother. I love the characters and how they grow on eachother (Chastity and Everly). The growth of love and trust built into this book is just overwhelming well done. Love the steam action hehe. Surprisingly I love this more than Regretting You, not that I didn't love it but it had more heart-wrenching moments! 5/5 ⭐

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶️ This book had so much angst &drama that I ate it up in less than 24 hours!

* The anger &fighting back &forth between Teagan &Derek was 👏🏼. There was so much tension &they fought it out right there on the page. There was no miscommunication with their confrontations. I loved every second of it!

* I thought the entire original fallout with Derek &Teagan was so realistic. The reactions of Derek &his wife, down to the call to Teagan were spot on!

* The narration was great! With all the fighting &tension back &forth, the narrators voices brought all the emotions along.

* This is one of those books that reminds me why Corinne Michaels was one of the first romance authors that pulled me in.

Themes:
* Single dad
* Single mom
* Friends to lovers
* Second chance romance

All I Ask... is to matter.
All I Ask... is to be loved.
All I Ask... is to be something to someone.

All I Ask is for Corinne Michaels to give me more. This second chance, one that got away, friends to lovers story is terribly romantic down to the evil plotting. Teenagers, temperamental townfolk, and rumors are not enough to destroy them hut their hidden secrets are.

All I Ask is that you read it. I know you will love it. I know you will be Team Tea. I know that it's going to hurt but the best things in life do. Love is not always easy.

All I Ask...

I absolutely loved this book. Teagan and Derek are pure perfection. I loved the push and pull of this story and everything it had to offer. Corinne’s writing keeps getting better and better. Her words captivated me and then leave me speechless. Everyone should read this book!

I need to read more Corinne Michaels! This book tore at my heart! It was beautiful and heartbreaking but I was consumed by Teagan and Derek! I consumed this book in one day. I was hooked from the first chapter to the last sentence!

So many times I wanted to grab the characters and shake them! They were complicated and flawed and they made mistakes. Both Teagan and Derek had been through so much but I loved seeing them finally find each other and not want to give up on each other.

I enjoyed seeing how much of a better person Teagan grew into as a woman and how she wanted to raise her daughter to be better than her. Teagan has a special place in my heart!

This book will make you laugh and cry and swoon and every minute of this book is worth the heartache!

4.5 stars!!
I love how Corinne Michaels always manages to pull all the emotions out of me with her books. All I Ask is a beautifully written, single parents, friends to lovers, second chance romance. It’s a story of longing, forgiveness and reconnection. Corinne Michaels does a great job combining emotionally charged moments with a lot of heart and sass. I really enjoyed this one.

Teagan and Derek had a really strong friendship that started in high school. However, secrets and unspoken desires forced them to end their bond. Thirteen years later, they're reunited and all the guilt, hurt, and feelings are unleashed. I liked how this story flowed so easily between the past and the present.

In the present, Teagan is down on her luck. She's had to do everything on her own and the end of her friendship with Derek more than a decade prior is still an open wound. But she stayed strong for her daughter. I loved the relationship she had with Chastity. Their bond is incredibly strong and there is so much trust and honesty between them.

Derek carries a ton of guilt for ending his relationship with Teagan. However, he had a marriage and a daughter to think of. When he moves back to help his father, he must figure out how to single parent his daughter who is struggling with all the recent changes.

I really love Teagan and Derek together, in the past and the present. Their connection was amazing even after so much time apart. It was almost to a point of frustration because I just wanted them to be together so freaking bad. There were many times in this story where I wanted to shake them both. A lot could have been resolved if they just talked to each other. The emotions and longing made for one hell of a story.

I'm such a sap when it comes to Corinne Michaels books. All I Ask may not be as angsty as some of her other books however that didn't stop me from shedding quite a few tears.

A second chance, friends to lovers, single parents romance by one of my favorite authors, I mean, come on, how could this be anything but a must read. I highly recommend it.
