I finished the naturals last night, and had to continue with this book..
What a crazy ride..
- Deans father? Crazy. Absolutely crazy. What he made dean go through- made him *watch*.. my heart.. I was crying so much..
the twists.. everywhere, there were twists and turns.. it's crazy how much damage a person can do from prison if they really want to.. there's always a way
- Dean.. my poor Dean.. He didn't deserve this, any of this.. but he's nothing like his father.. I wish I could tell him that too- he really needs to hear this more than once imo. He really went through it in this book..
- Cassie being kidnapped? Not fun. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.. my poor baby, just as she finally started feeling like she belongs somewhere..
but I loved that so much.. I'm glad she's finding her place there..
Also: Cassie and Dean? YES. Thank you. I knew it would happen.. it just- made the most sense in my head..
When Dean was in the woods, calling out her name, checking her for injuries.. him finally kissing her, Cassie kissing back..

I feel for Michael, I really do.. but he will be ok.. he'll be fine.. I know he will be..
- I love how Lia's mind works, loved the random frat party night- and her caring so much about Dean.. he's really like a brother to her..
- I feel for Sloane.. *used to being left out..* Cassie won't make her feel like that ever again.. my special girl, Sloane really has a special place in my heart..
- I'm really curious about Lia's and Sloanes backstory.. we did learn about Cassie's and deans in detail, kind of about Michael's.. but Lia and Sloane are still a mystery to me.. I'm sure we'll figure it out in the next 2 books..
-And finally! They can finally work on active cases.. I'm so curious as to how that will play out!
I'm so exited as to how this series will continue.. but I'm loving every second of this journey! I even have to say I liked this one a tiny bit better than the first one, so honestly it's getting 5,25 ⭐️ from me!
