I think I liked this one slightly better than the first. I don't know what it was, but it kept me even more interested. Going to start book 3 now.

 I really liked how much better we got to know Dean through this book; the way the case in this book was related to his father and Dean’s past was really interesting. I hope each of the following books focuses on each of the remaining characters too.
