Didn’t realize the main character was a cop. Gross.

Characters weren't likable.. pacing felt off. It feels like we're in the middle of a story.

Where Violets Bloom is not like any other stalker romances I've read. It may have started out as a stalker story, it turned into a possessive/obsessed story. It was not as dark as I was expecting going into it, but I still really enjoyed it and only put the book down to eat or use the restroom. There were several parts that kinda made my eye twitch but the one that made me want to smack Violet was the whole situation with the notebook. I'm not going to give spoilers, but like girl come on! It was the first story I have read by the author and her writing style seems interesting so I will read more of her in the future!

A bit disturbing, but it’s a stalker romance so this is neither unexpected or bad—it just isn’t my preferred cup of tea.

Van is perfect. The second half did drag on for a little bit but I still very much enjoyed it. I loved both the MCs.
