Sabine Barclay is an amazing author!

Laura and Maks are the perfect example of how people from different worlds are often perfect for each other. No matter what challenges they faced - they faced them together.

Laura is a strong FMC who takes no crap from anyone. Secure in her own knowledge and upbringing she has made her world work for her.

Maks is the ultimate bachelor and is poleaxed by Laura from the start.

IF you are looking for something a little darker but with a HEA then start here!

I really liked this. It was fast and kept me on my toes, a lot of different elements all together. But I really enjoyed that Laura didn’t let Maks walk all over her, I mean a bit, but she definitely let him know that he messed up.
She was quick witted and smart and badass. The perfect FMC for me!

This was quite the introduction to this series.

This couple were such strong characters individually however together it was a bit too instalove. I also think the bdsm part might have needed more trust between them but it definitely made for some spicy scenes between them. I was intrigued by the suspense aspect of the story and am interested in will come next in the series.

Great Book

This is the first book I've read by this author, and it's so good. The pace and story development are on point. Picture this, a lawyer with underworld connections who falls for the head of the Russian Bratva and unknowingly has blood ties to the Irish mob.

Bratva Darling the first book in The Ivankov Brotherhood series by Sabine Barclay is a dark mafia romance with suspense and BDSM elements of a Daddy Dom mix.

I wasn’t prepared for her…

She just got me to pay three times as much as I wanted for a company I’ll buy and destroy.

She knows who I am. The bratva doesn’t scare her.

Intelligent, brave, and unstoppable.

I’ll make her mine.

She doesn’t know it yet, but we’re soulmates.

I’ll take her to her limits. Then give her all her heart desires.

The Bratva Darling is an interconnecting, standalone Dark Mafia Romance with a HEA and no cliffhanger. It contains extra-steamy scenes that will make your toes curl and your granny blush. This is book one in The Ivankov Brotherhood, a six-book series that’ll keep you warm at night.

I was a little leery of this novel suggestion and where I would like it. I have to say that the author did a fantastic job of giving the loveable rouge a character arc. Not only did he have to learn to change his life to fit a love marriage but he also had to learn communication. The female lead also had to learn to bend and compromise with her partner and communicate her past, desires, and wants out of a relationship. If this tells you anything I got the second book in the series in my library ordered it right after reading this book.
