A story with lore different than what I usually gravitate towards. The magic system is unique with children of the gods having gifts depending on the god.
I loved the banter with Freya and Bjorn. I honestly need more of them. Freya is on one heck of a ride to find herself while others are seeking to use her. I can't wait to see where the next book takes her, and how she approaches her life and managing her emotions.
