Half-way through the series and I'm a bit iffy about it.
I do like it but some thing are just infuriating. I don't like Ashley. She annoying and frustrating and I definitely don't envy Roman for being stuck with her. Roman is okay. He's practical and I'm okay with that. He's a bit too practical at times but it's such a relief after Ashley that I don't mind it hald as much as I normally would. Ashley's a good person and I know that, but she makes me want to pull my hair out and scream sometimes. There are times when I like her. Those moments are just too rare and spread out to make much of a difference.
Ruthie's writing, as always, is wonderful. I think the only reason I decided to read this book is because I missed Ruthie's writing. So, while waiting for her new book to come out, I decided to give this one a shot.
Hoping to not hate Ashley entirely by the end...
