read the entirety of this book in one day. this book kicks off during the first chapter and doesn’t let up. i’m still trying to wrap my head around those last few chapters. the novel has a bit of an odd ending. i’m mixed on it. it shouldn’t have led to that. the novel could have ended any other way, like we didn’t need a violent rape scene. also the ENDING?? what da hell was that? im glad we didn’t get a bury your gays type beat but it was still odd.
overall, it’s such a beautifully written book that falls on its face during its last few pages. nathan baby i hope you find your happiness up north. you deserve it.
