Llevo más de dos meses en esta saga. No la abandoné porque la historia me parecía interesante y porque tenía un compromiso conmigo misma para terminarlo.
La saga en general es 2 estrellas para mí, en otras palabras no la volvería a leer nunca.
El mundo está muy pero muy poco desarrollado, cuando crees que ya sabes todo de los caster oscuros y luminosos, de los íncubos, y una que otra cosa más, de la nada te sacan otra cosa. Os pongo un ejemplo, al principio de los libros hay un listado con los tipos de Caster y lo que pueden hacer cada uno, esta permanece invariable a lo largo de 4 libros, sin embargo, cuando las autoras necesitan que pase algo milagrosamente se inventan un Caster totalmente nuevo con las habilidades que necesitan y ni siquiera te lo explican, sueltan nombres del tipo de Caster y ya.
No se habla casi nada de los túneles, una de las cosas más interesantes de la saga. Dejan sin explotar temas increíbles que aportan a la construcción de este mundo para, en cambio, centrarse en las discusiones sin sentido de dos adolescentes (que tienen que tener problemas entre ellos por el bien de la trama)
Lena me parece una malcriada que siente que el mundo gira alrededor suyo, que, al mismo tiempo, cuando logra solucionar sus problemas actúa como si en el camino no hubiera hecho nada mal y se le tuviera que perdonar todo, cosa que nuestro protagonista hace sin pestañear porque "está perdidamente enamorado de ella" según repite el en todos los capítulos (como si no lo supieramos ya)
Ethan, dios mio Ethan, me hizo poner los ojos en blanco al menos 3 veces por capítulo, sus dialogos internos eran lo más aburrido que he leído en mi vida, repitiendo lo mismo 40 veces.
Si algo puede salvar esta saga para mí es el 3er libro Hermoso Caos, si, igual le di 3 estrellas, pero al leerlo se sintió diferente, había una contradicción real en, nuestro protagonista, había problemas reales, el mundo dio un vuelco interesante y me gustó bastante el desenlace que le dieron.
Mis personajes favoritos son Liv y Link, la primera es muy inteligente y una amiga sin igual y bueno, Link es Link, random, gracioso, es él mismo todo el tiempo aunque todo cambie a su alrededor y un amigo como pocos.

It was alright. I liked it about the same as the rest of the series. Although in this book things seemed to be way too easy (which was obnoxious) and I feel like I missed the resolution/explanation to some things (but that could be because sometimes I don't follow things well, who knows). Also, the dual voices was reminiscent of twilight book 4....can we get some originality here people, come on.

3 ⭐️ I genuinely cannot remember if I read this before or not, but what a weird book. I liked a lot of the elements to it, but I know it was written simply because the ending of the last one was so bad and it needed to be resolved in a happier manner. There were many a trial and tribulation going on here, which I do love, but overall, I didn’t think the story improved with the continuation. The end was cheesy, but I’ll take it over tragic, so a win is a win!
Loved the book, glad that I got to read from the perspective of Lena and sad that it is over.

well, this book, i’m a little disappointed. Lena’s perspective was the best when we went back to ethan i was bored.
Ridley is my fav character honestly, like she has her faults but it makes me like her more. im definitely going to read her book.

What a great ending! I'm bummed that The Beautiful Creatures movie was so sucky because this series should really be made into something. I think it would be better for TV personally. Anyway, I thought this book perfectly summed up the series. Lose ends were tied and the entire book was so suspenseful. I seriously got nothing done all day because I had to find out what happened. Ethan continued to be a superb narrator and probably one of my favorites. Even in the crappy situation he was in, he didn't lose his humor and I continually enjoyed all his witty comments about everything. I also liked the part where Lena was the narrator. I was concerned that she was going to a useless wreck like she was in the second book. Instead she was a strong character who was trying to keep her emotions in check while she solved the problem ahead of her. The character building of all of the characters continued to be awesome. All the supporting characters such as Ridley, Link, John, and Liv were well done and developed so nicely. I especially love the Aunts and I got such a kick out of them. The town of Gatlin was so well created and the entire theme was well crafted. I love the morals and themes of this book, love endures, sacrifice is necessary, live life to the fullest. The book was heartbreaking in the best way and I'll be pondering this series for the next week.
Is the story drawn out? Yes, it is also slow at times. However, I am ok with this because the reader has such an awesome narrator who even makes the slow parts entertaining. I highly recommend, and these books will go on my favorites shelf.
