I wish the author used less filler words. This book felt long. Also Juliette whiny was annoying like what did u expect, the job to be easy

This is probably my least favorite of the series so far. Juliette was exceptionally annoying throughout this whole novel, the pressures of being Supreme aside. She was sniveling and whiny and it was so frustrating to read her POV’s this time around.
On the other hand, as always, I love Aaron’s character growth, especially his newly blossoming friendship with Kenji.
As far as plot twists go, I can’t say I was surprised. I had pretty much surmised what the Kids were sent for and who Juliette’s parents could be, before it was actually confirmed. Still, I’m very interested to see how this plays out over the course of the other two novels.
