I enjoyed this book a lot in the beginning then in the middle I lost interest and it took me a long time to get through this book but then my interest picked up right at the ending it was a enjoyable book different but I liked it it was so cute and it was spicy with a happy ending and no cliffhangers it has no love triangle and no cheating this is a monster romance and fated mates I weirdly loved vex’s appearance and I love there relationship and the beautiful ending overall i rated this book 4 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️and definitely would recommend

I love the talented and infinitely creative duo that is Tiffany Roberts. They always manage to write romance stories I enjoy reading. This one was no different! It reminded me a lot of a Beauty and the Beast retelling, and that happens to be one of my favorite fairytales.

I want to start my review by saying I ADORE the wisps. Shade, Flare, and Echo are precious beings who only deserve happiness. As for our main characters, I really liked FMC Kinsley. She was such a perfect mix of spirit and sweetness. If she was a real-life person, I would probably be half in love with her, lol. It's no wonder Vex fell for her.💘

Vex as an MMC was a really complex and interesting character. His backstory was heartbreaking, and it made sense why he ended up becoming the being he is today. I was honestly not too sure about him in the beginning of the book, but I feel he atoned for his actions throughout the rest of the story.

Although there were many fantastical elements to love along with the spice, there was a huge problem I faced about 80% into the book; I was bored. I kept putting my phone down, finding other things to keep me busy because I was so bored. The ending was satisfying–don't get me wrong, but I wasn't surprised with the twist at all, and I didn't like how the final chapters felt more like a summary of what was happening. It felt a little... rushed? Yet, slow as well?? Idk 🤷‍♀️ 😅

Overall, I liked this book. It might not be my favorite of Tiffany Roberts, but I enjoyed myself nonetheless! I look forward to future works. 🐥💕

Set in the same universe as His Darkest Craving, Vex and Kinsley meet after a horrific accident. It took me a hot minute to figure out what was going on, and then I was invested! I'm eagerly looking forward to the next book (and figuring out how the two books tie together in any way aside from the queen). I do feel like this book relied a lot on the smut to keep an otherwise potentially slow story plot going, the middle got pretty humdrum. I'm not normally one for a pregnancy plot and I could kinda see this one coming but it was still entertaining.
