This read a lot like a fan fiction. I was really excited for it because I love the characters it had in it but it missed the mark. There were a few times I found myself laughing but I can’t figure out if I was laughing because it was stupid or funny. I think the only character the author really got was buffy with her witty one liners. I think it would’ve been better if it was written in first person rather than third.

This was a wonderful addition to the Buffyverse! It was really interesting to read about an alternate universe where Buffy wasn't in Sunnydale and see how the Big Bads featured in the series were living without Buffy around. I finished this one a few days ago and keep thinking about it. The world building for this alternate reality is just incredible.

A fun read with tons of villainous cameos, in-jokes, and nostalgia. Doesn't quite stake the climax, but the epilog was perfect.

I thought this was a lot of fun as a big Buffy fan and I didn’t put too much thought into it since it was an alternate universe so I could definitely let some things fly.
