HAPPY RELEASE DAY!!!
I had the opportunity to read another Julie's ARC and It didn't disappoint! Her books always make me giggle and kicking my feet while reading, always end up IN LOVE with all the characters in the series.
This is a Peter Pan retelling of sorts but with an interesting twist, Wendy ends up being Jasper's (Hook's inspiration) nanny, but getting to know her ex-fiancé's brother gets deeper and complicated with their attraction, with funny and cute moments Off the Hook it's another amazing heartwarming Julie's book, I can't wait for the rest of this series and getting to know the entire Never Habor's crew.
I gave this book 4.75 stars and I hope It will be another amazing success.
Thank you, Julie and good girls pr for this ARC!

What could have been cheesy in a different author’s hands was simply delightful…. And very steamy 🫢.

This is my first Julie Olivia book, even though my friend Bethany has been recommending her books to me for a while (sorry Bethany, ily).
This was a really good balance between sweet and spicy. Deffff a slow burn, but worth it. That being said, I felt things were drawn out a little bit. I got to like 80ish % and didn’t feel like *that* much had really happened? I still enjoyed though.
Given that this is Peter Pan “inspired” and not a retelling like so many are, I really enjoyed the little nods to the original Peter Pan in this contemporary setting.
Highlights:
- Romance: MF
- Single dad / nanny
- Grumpy/sunshine
- Ex-fiancé’s older brother
- Small town romance
- Slow burn
- Peter Pan inspired
