I absolutely loved this book sOO much !! I love Christine’s writing and I loved the way that everything ended up. She did so good at tying everything up in a little bow! Seriously cannot read her next novel

I was really hoping I'd enjoy this one, but sadly it's just not for me. There's nothing *wrong* with it; the characters are good and interesting, it's well written. It just felt too long, it took too long for things to happen, and the magic came out of nowhere with no prior warning that this was anything other than a contemporary. I found Jamie grating as well; I don't tend to enjoy the type of character who drags others along and ignores their complaints.

I think there are plenty of readers out there who will enjoy this, and I'm very sorry I wasn't one of them. I hope it does well.

3.5 - A YA coming of age story featuring two sisters who find each other after being apart for years because of their parent's messy divorce. Jamie and Siri meet at a camp and in a Freaky Friday esque magic moment switch appearances. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the girls decide to embark on a confront the parents trap, exchanging lives for a few days in order to get to know the parent they haven't seen in over ten years. Eventually everything comes to a head when all four meet up in Las Vegas. Geared more towards older teens this book explores sexual identities, new romances, finding new dreams, overcoming anxieties and confronting their dysfunctional Game of Thrones loving parents. I thought this was an entertaining read and would recommend for fans of Emma Lord's You have a match.

Fun/light read. At first I thought this was going to be exactly like the Parent Trap meets Freaky Friday, but there's enough differences that it doesn't feel like a copycat. Christine Riccio puts a YA spin on things with a glitter bomb, sci-fi/fantasy book references, and really crappy parent choices!

An entertaining read of the parent trap meets freaky Friday. It had emotional parts, funny parts, and romantic parts. There was also a crossover of a couple of characters from the author's first novel. The fast-talking dialog reminded me of Gilmore Girls and there was plenty of family drama.

This is between 3.5 and 4 stars for me. I thought it was really cute and I ended up enjoying it more than I expected to. I could definitely see this story line as a movie or TV show it was very funny and light and super cinematic during the entire story. I felt like some parts were extremely unrealistic and others were way too cheesy but I loved how the overarching ideas of sisterhood and family were represented. I thought both love stories were really cute and I know love Jamie and Siri so much. It was a great book with a creative idea that was executed very well. It was a book that definitely won over my heart.

A mind-spiraling read that proves that siblings are the best thing to ever happen in the world! Loved the cliches and tear-jerking-sisterly moment!

Ima say this was a 4.5 for me. There were definitely some times I cringed while reading this, and also thought some instances where the characters seemed way younger than they were, but also trauma so maybe it makes sense~ but regardless, I enjoyed this, and I laughed out loud quite a few times, which basically never happens, so a win for me. Also really enjoyed the romances, they were all really natural IMO.

What did Timothèe Chalamet ever do to wind up in a book so terrible?
