I liked the major themes of writing as a alienating activity, and I’m still puzzling out how I found the ending. The slightly weird aspects were neat and enjoyable for the most part. Frankly still don’t see what all the discussions of barrenness/motherhood/sex have to do with it, which is my main critique.
