I feel like issues 1 and 2 are completely different beasts. Okay, that likely isn’t the case, but right now they feel completely different. Likely the following issues will help explain the sudden switch, as well as having them blend together more…
I’m going to go with a 3 ½ overall for this issue though. It was interesting, but too disjointed from the first issue for my liking. Though if I’m being brutally honest I probably would have liked it more had I been reading it in volume format (so I could just go onto the next issue and see what was going on). I’m totally going to stick with the series though, because I still think it has a lot of potential.

I'm glad that the action is getting underway, which it must with this format, but I like it very well at the moment.

OK, I'm intrigued. For the few pages I had here, I definitely feel I've gotten some damn fine storytelling. It's shifted quite a bit from Issue 1, but I know why and it kept me interested from the first to the last page.

The art is fantastic and helps really bring this story to life.
