epic conclusion to the body count series!! 5 out of 5 stars!! I had zero idea about who the murderer was and was totally surprised when it was revealed! I know it’s Riordans Revenge and I absolutely loved him but I need to start my review with talking about the wild child herself, Cassie!! I absolutely love her!! I love how she is authentically herself. She says what’s on her mind and does not let anyone push her around. Definitely don't wrong her because she is a force to be reckoned with. She is also a deeply caring and thoughtful person. She would do anything for her friends and family. If I could I would immediately join her Skeleton Girls Detective Agency with Everly and Gen!! Riordan has a tough exterior, but inside he has a lot of pain. In order to manage the pain, he has directed it to seek revenge on the person who caused this pain. As a couple Cassie and Riordan are the perfect pair 💕 Cassie breathes life into Riordan with her wild nature and Riordan is the calm and anchor Cassie needs in her life.
I honestly could not put this book down. It evoked similar feelings of happiness when you come home after being away from family and friends. Having Cassie as the FMC and knowing her as a character in Dark Island Scots plus her family in this book made my heart so happy! I miss these characters and love getting to read about them and where they are at in their lives since their books.
If you haven't read the Body Count Series, I absolutely 100 percent recommend it. I would also recommend Jolies other books and series, especially the Dark Island Scots series since we see both Cassie and Arran in their younger years in the DIS series. Or you can start at the very beginning of her books!!
Man oh man. What a wild ride this series had. Riordan is book boyfriend number one out of this series. Watching him grow and face fears he had throughout the book was amazing. Amazing. Cassie, Wild Girl, crazy. Absolutely loved. Seeing her first in Dark Island and now grown is great. Full circle moments. There is one thing I wish that had been answered, and it was what Arran had been searching for in his book. But who knows that maybe answered later. I love seeing this dark side of Jolie.

I did like this book but I had moments where I was uncomfortable with how the male lead treated the female lead. There are unhealthy habits but that's apart of the characters. I loved the strong female lead though. She was just a bit much but that was part of the fun of the read
