I have to admit I did cry a little with this one. I gave it a 3/5 for a little bit of predictability and also the fact that the ending was very rushed. But, I did read it all in one sitting, and loved every moment between laughing and shedding some tears too.

4.5 ⭐️ this was a really good book that was a mix between a romance and a commentary on family and grief. I really enjoyed the family dynamic and the new york setting! The middle was slow at times, but overall it was a really charming read. This book is not centered around Christmas so it can be read at any point in the winter.

Couldn't get into the story. Did not care about the characters at all. Didn't love the secrets from the outset and didn't feel compelled to keep reading. Tried as both audio and physical book and literally couldn't bring myself past 20%

A long one, but ultimately a good one. Josie Silver never fails to keep you on your toes to the very last pages. I love our UK romcom girlie!
