One can only read the same words over and over and over (and over) again so many times.
To be honest, probably my least favourite of the bridgerton books. I just felt like in the middle of the book it completely 180, but without build and writing. I did like the plot twist. The character Lucy just seemed to change personality quite a lot.
Me ha gustado, se veía algo previsible el final pero aun así me ha gustado. El epílogo me ha dejado tiesa, enserio 9? Cosas de la época supongo.

WARRRRR ISSSSS OVERRRRRRR.
The last Bridgerton. Officially. (Technically). I think this is mostly a percy jackson situation where at some points all the characters make appearances and cameos in her other stories because I think the only thing that Mrs. Quinn knows how to write is regency romances, but that's fine by me!!!! I think overall this was a good series. There were a lottttt of ups and even more downs, but it was certainly entertaining. The thing about Bridgerton books is that there's one thing that always stops them from being like decently good books. Sometimes it's a man with such bad anger issues that it makes you concerned for their children, sometimes it's marrying your dead husbands brother, other times it's a scene that seemingly walks the line between consent and rape. There would be times when I'm reading one of the books in this series then have to fully stop and be like WHATTTT DID HE DO??? HE DID WHATTT!!!! WHAT DID SHE SAYYYYY!!! And usually these can be excused by the fact that it takes place from 1814-1836 and that's was just common at the time HOWEVER, sometimes it's just completely out of nowhere that it just forces you to like take a breather.
I think that for the most part, I like these books, not because of the romance, but because of how Quinn writes family. I love how each other siblings interact with one another I love how close they are and I love how they would literally die for one another with like no hesitation. The romance is like always second to me in these books because (and I'll be the first to say this) THESE BOOKS ARE SO GOSH DARN REPETITIVE!!! I don't care about scandal anymore good lord. I've heard about it too much. Oh no there's this girl that won't marry a Bridgerton brother for one reason or another. Oh well I'll just FORCE HER TO MARRY HER BY HAVING SEX WITH HER. They get married and then there's an epilogue about how they're so happy and in love and have a gaggle of children. Wow. Incredible. I didn't really like the epilogues and I'll tell you that for free. I really only liked them if it was about like a fun Bridgerton get together or reunion those are always fun but when it's just talking about the amount of children they had I don't careeeee it freaks me out. Why did I want to know that Gregory had NINE CHILDREN. That's simply too many. That's too many children.
The only thing that stayed truly consisted in this body of work was my one true love and goddess divine, Violet Bridgerton. She made sure all of her children were off in happy marriages AND SHE SUCCEEDED. With barely any scandal. She's truly a queen and I love her to death.
Would also like to congratulate this book on being the first one to include a queer character!! I thought he was going to die, but he didn't!!! And he was like a cool character and no one called him any slurs!!! This is a win in my book, and I hope there's a spin off written about him that was NOT written by Quinn because I have a feeling that that would be a disaster.
But Yeah this book overall is like the last pitch perfect to me. A weird conclusion (If you can call it that) to the series that weirdly involves a lot of kidnapping, blackmail, and gunshots.
