Best one of the whole series. I was audibly gasping and constantly in awe of each plot point. Brilliant.
This really felt more like the first few books, both in style and in the vibe, which surprised me because it really looked like the author was gradually giving up throughout the series and I expected it only to get worse.
I really liked how Gregory, the youngest Bridgerton brother, turned out to be - this hopeless romantic, even delusional, who is ready to risk it all for love, which is very different from the other male leads in the book series.
The moment I read the prologue, I knew was in for an adventure, and it really delivered. I in general liked the premise of this love story, it was occasionally even jarring the PTSD it triggered when Lucy's brother and her best friend get hitched, it felt like such a betrayal and I had to put the book down for a day.
As always, the appearances of other beloved characters from the series - Anthony, Kate, Colin and Violet enhanced the book tremendously, I especially loved the dynamic that Anthony and Kate delivered again.
As is usually the case with this Bridgerton series, I have a major complaint, which is... Why did Simon not show his face when Daphne was clearly throwing the ball :c But that just seems to be the trend with me and Bridgerton books.
The last Bridgerton book. What the end of an era.

Last of the series, it was okay. I skimmed parts because I felt the story was slow. Very predictable plot points. Not bad, but…forgettable maybe. The second epilogue was sweet and I enjoyed that.

This had the most unique narration technique so far and I enjoyed the subversion of her usual style. I also can't believe how dramatic and crazy the stakes were in this one and I enjoyed how hectic the 2 sequel stories were (nearly destroyed me)
