This book was entirely too long. Overall it felt like a ton of the plot could have been shortened. I liked both Gregory and Lucy, but a lot of their storyline annoyed me.

Such a sweet ending the Bridgerton series! I was excited to read Gregory's story, not because it was the end, but because he was barely a thought throughout the other books. If he wasn't causing mayhem on his sister Hyacinth or making noise throughout a wedding, he was barely mentioned. I can only assume it is because of the lengthy age different between majority of his siblings.

It was so interesting to see so many characters describe the 'flutter' of falling in love. With that, it goes without saying there is a lot of internal dialogue from the main characters, so be prepared for the fluff. Book 8 does pack the punch with the drama and I enjoyed.

I finished this book off by reading the extended epilogue, but honestly I could have done without it. Out of all eight extended stories, I can say I flat-out did not like this one. The positives are it was a page turner and you got a glimpse at some of Lucy & Gregory's children, but I could have gone without. With that said, I gave my rating on the book overall, excluding the second epilogue.
