I just immediately want to read the rest of the series. The world and characters really sucked me in from the very beginning, even if I was a little confused and overwhelmed. I love Kaladin...... that's it.

Wow. I don’t even know where to begin. Well, it took me several months to finish this book, including having to start over because I took a short break and then forgot what was going on, oof. But oh the last quarter was really intense. My favorite moment was when
Kaladin leaped across the chasm straight into the Parshendi—time seemed to freeze—and then he inhaled the stormlight from the spheres in their beards. I audibly gasped
.

I loved the variety of characters that we followed, each with their distinct personality and tone. On to book two!
