All the action of the first book but throw in some mutants and a nefarious military plot in the only surviving human airship and you have the makings of a perfect summer read. Bring n book number 3 Deliverance!

I enjoyed this book, it was a quick action packed read perfect for a book hangover.
This book takes place 10 years after the last finishes… Tin is all grown up and is now the leader of the raptors, X’s branch of the hell divers.
The new commander is much different than the last boss lady…. Stricter and more careful about where they go in a lot of ways. He seems to be playing it safe a lot. Weaver, the man that was rescued from Ares, is the new old man of the hell divers and Magnolia is still there, still crazy, maybe a little more mature.

I found this book to be very enjoyable… the mutants creeped me out so much….. and I am very happy i read it… I wasn’t going to since X died in the last one and I was so sad at the ending…..

I can’t wait to jump into the next one.

I put this one off - a 10 year gap. I didn't think I was going to like it. I was wrong. It was amazing. Listened to the whole thing in one day, too.
