[Read as an audiobook]
Definitely my favourite out of the bunch so far- I just love all the characters and how they interact with each other. I didn’t care for Ciri’s perspective much this book but that’s likely because I’m not too fond of The Rats aka the group she hangs out with, the end of the last book kinda left a bad taste in my mouth about them.
Though I’m still giving it almost 5 stars because Geralt’s perspective entirely makes up for it to me with all the interesting characters that he travels with.

Such as Zoltan, who is essentially morally grey where he’ll rob people but still offering a helping hand to those in need like women & children during war times. His character and his crew I enjoyed a lot along with the dynamics of Dandelion, Milva and eventually Regis & Cahir. I loved the inner conflict Geralt deals with eventually
allowing Regis and Cahir to stay with the group.

Not much of Yennefer in this book, but I’m excited to see where she is in the next book from where she left off in this one. Can’t wait for them to be all reunited again.
Enjoyed the ending of this book aside from
I’m sad for Milva but not terribly surprised it happened
, Cahir has really grown on me. Overall 5/5 or atleast 5/4.75 stars.

Well... although I haven't enjoyed much the saga of the Witcher so far, this third book of the series was slightly more dynamic. It didn't felt like continuous wandering in search for Ciry (although that was about it). I think one of the reasons why I found it interesting was the introduction of two new characters, especially the one joining the Geralt's party later in the book that defies what the Witcher stands for.

Sadly I don't think I'll continue reading the saga...
