Ugh I loved this one more than the first one. I totally didn’t think I would because it took me like two weeks to get past the first chapter but once I got started it was so freaking good. Jennie and Garrett’s slowburn friends to lovers arc was breathtaking and I enjoyed every freaking minute of it. Plus as always Becka Mack made me laugh so freaking hard. Another great read!

Fun, fear, fractured but fabulous family members

Really enjoyed this book, loved Garrett and Jeanie even more so than Ollie and Carter in the first book. Looking forward to Adam’s story next.
Love, family locality, trauma and compassion. I laughed and cried with this one.

Honestly when I started this book I was OBSESSED and thought oh my days this is going to be a favourite book of the year. Now that I’ve just finished it five minutes ago, I feel like the sheer volume of spice took away from the plot and the character building and feel a little disappointing because I do think if more was spent into the actual relationship between the characters as opposed to genuinely about 25 spice scenes, it could have been a 5 star. That being said, I did still enjoy the book and the characters for me were very loveable, I was obsessed with Garrett’s like awkwardly shy vibe at the start and Jennie being the polar opposite. Maybe going forward, the rating might go up
