I was not ready for this only a month after one of my loved ones died. That being said, I loved this so much.

I would have preferred the main characters to stay as friends. I didn't find the romance to be convincing and it felt a bit empty and cliche. I also don't understand what happened to Delilah. I'm assuming she died(?) and I guess that sets up the reader for the next book in the series. I was sad about Mateo and Rufus(?) dying.

Beautifully written and full of nuggets of wisdom. A lovely story of living life, loving each other, and doing the best that you can with the time that you have. Loved the development of the characters, queer and POC representation, and just overall a great read!

I need a spin-off, and by spin-off I mean an anthology of short stories that takes place after the book ends.

Gods the ending of the book hurts. You know it's coming, it's inevitable, and maybe that makes it even worse, because until the very end you hope that it doesn't.

They Both Die at the End is beautifully written and has some really beautiful messages.

March 20th, 2024 - March 24th, 2024.

“...stories can make someone immortal as long as someone else is willing to listen.”

“Entire lives aren't lessons, but there are lessons in lives.”

“Two dudes met. They fell in love. They lived. That's our story.”
