Another great Jade O'Reilly mystery from Tamara Ward! I love this series. This short was a fast-paced read with a cute Christmas theme. Jade has to deal with a cranky old woman whose yard gets decorated for the 12 nights before Christmas by an anonymous "decorator" just full of creative ideas like a yard full of popcorn. Because of the woman's antagonistic actions toward her neighbors - and everyone else - there's no shortage of suspects. On top of that, Jade must handle a request from her ex-fiance and try to come up with a memorable first Christmas gift for her boyfriend, all with very little sleep. Jade is a great character. If you haven't read any of the series yet, I'd definitely recommend this short to whet your appetite. It stands alone as do all of the books in the series. Can't wait for the next!
