I really liked the concept of the book and I found it interesting, but there was something missing. It didn’t quite engage me like I wanted it to.

I had mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand, it has some great ideas, for those who are intimidated by reading fiction, about how to approach reading. It’s also a celebration of libraries, and I'm always up for that.
On the down side, I found it a bit too saccharine, too wildly optimistic, for my taste. Whether that says more about the book, or about me, is debatable.
