2.5 stars? idk i liked the book as. whole but it was so boring as certain parts and hard to read.. and i hated marion with a burning passion. 100% the worst character in any book ever written

It started off really strong and I was very invested in the complex relationship dynamics that the author was building between the three main characters. I did enjoy the writing, I thought that it was kind of refreshing to have such a horny woman be the main narrator, it was enjoyable to read, and I felt like I could feel what she felt. But then all of a sudden, it seems like the ending was rushed, I couldn’t understand the justification behind the main narrators decisions, and I thought that it was kind of a lazy writing pop out. The author has built this really interesting dynamic and then all of a sudden sold out the gay guys. It felt a little bit too a kin to the kill your gays trope. As a person who is queer, I thought that this would’ve been a really interesting opportunity to explore new relationship dynamics, but instead, I was disappointed.

the lead up was so nice but i felt like i was expecting a little bit more but the ending was nice. hope marion reunited with julia and they can be friends

might have had too high expectations, i thought this would hurt me more. didn’t hit the way i thought it would, kinda disappointed.
