The characters were less developed and the plot wasn’t as good as the other books. Or maybe it’s the fact that Demi wanted to do what I’m in school for and I read to escape and couldn’t. Still well written and fun.

It really bothered me that Demi didn't show any respect for Hunters  celibacy. Yes his reason for it were questionable, but her disregard for his decision were disgusting.

The worst one of the BriarU/off campus books so far. (I am about to read the last one in BriarU and the last two in Off-campus

This book surprised me so much because I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did! I am such a huge fan of Elle Kennedy's new-adult romance series, I loved the Off-Campus series and I flew through the Briar U series within a week. This one took the cake as my favourite Briar U book so far because I absolutely adored the friends to lovers relationship between Hunter and Demi. The banter between them was easy and natural, which I appreciate, and I just loved how they were always supporting one another. This book also contained some really funny moments, I especially loved the pet egg, and the epilogue was honestly hilarious. What really made me love this book though was the character Hunter. He was so sweet and honest with Demi, and I was so impressed by the fact that he was always by her side no matter what. 100% boyfriend material. I am beyond excited for the fourth book in the series to come out, because I simply cannot get enough of Elle Kennedy!
