SpoilerTo sum up; people who eat outside of their healthy food plans, binge and therefore are pigs. The author managed to put this one concept into 24 chapters

All in all, this book is not that bad... The method is pretty clear and straightforward since the beginning and somewhat applicable (I'm trying this, so I can't say if it's working or not). But it's just too long though. You don't need to read this book, just listen to the author's 10-min podcast or radio show and you're good to go.

Anyway, what's up with the "for men" sticker on the cover?

edit: I plan to apply this mindset not only in food but also in guilty pleasures (aka watching youtube and binging tv shows). It's only been one day but so far the plan works

2.75....

Some new ways of thinking when it comes to willpower. I'm not one to read self-help books, so I can't really compare it to many others... It kinda repeats a LOT... but it's decent. The only thing I didn't enjoy, was all the extras you could sign up for to help you out after you read the book...

Had a few good take away points. But it's basically one long advertisement for the author's services and website.

I really enjoyed this short book about how to stop binge eating. I would not exactly call it a diet plan, as there are really no explicit rules about food that you have to follow. It is more about developing a plan for yourself and sticking with it. I also could relate to the psychological tool of thinking about your need to binge as a pig.

So, I definitely didn’t notice the “for men” on the cover and that’s putting a lot into context.

I think that certain parts of this book could be helpful for a very specific subset of personalities.

Buuutttttt... I HATED the language he used, and I think some of the concepts are really damaging.

I’m gonna need to reflect a bit more I think

Interesting

Logical, but unconventional. I found it hard to think of any part of myself as needing to be caged. I'll try it!

Solid theory

Such a simple concept revealed here it’s almost comical. I feel like...duh! I should inherently know this stuff (but obviously not, seeing as how I felt the need to read the book in the first place). Now to apply the ideas. There was some solid advice given here, much of which I’ve taken to heart and will employ.

To look at me you may not think/know I struggle on the daily with food addiction/binging. I’m committing to caging my squealing pig now.

Ummmm....

I’m giving this 3 stars because I love the idea of creating and customizing g my own food plan but I can’t give it any higher because the rest felt like brainwashing.

Meh. Kanskje, kanskje ikke. Selvhjelpsbøker er liksom aldri veldig bra.

In a single sentiment, this book is just an ad for the author’s other paid services.
